Medical Help in a Hurry
Having a sick or injured child is every parent’s worst nightmare, especially when it’s outside of their pediatrician’s office hours. A possible solution? Urgent-care clinics that cater to medical issues that need fast attention but maybe aren’t severe enough to land you in the E.R. These clinics often have a shorter wait time than E.R.s, do not require an appointment and often charge an office visit co-pay rather than an emergency co-pay (which, depending on your insurance, can be a big difference!). Check out these local clinics next time your little ones need care.
