+ Art lovers will flock to the second-annual Dallas Art Fair from 11am-7pm Feb 5-6 and 12-5pm Feb 7 at Dallas’ Fashion Industry Gallery. More than 50 national art dealers will be on hand to exhibit sculpture, prints, photography and more. The event will include a gala preview from 7-10pm Feb 4 at the F.I.G., plus symposia on art from 10am-12pm Feb 6-7 at Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts. Ferris’ novel Then We Came to the End was a finalist for the National Book Award and was one of the New York Times’ “10 Best Books of the Year” in 2008. Ferris will discuss his new novel, The Unnamed. Haslett was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize and the National Book Award for his short story collection You Are Not a Stranger Here.
